I’m a financial journalist and content writer who’s spent over 20 years explaining money clearly.
After studying at the University of St Andrews, I began my career at MoneyWeek, where I covered everything from savings and pensions to investing. I went on to become deputy editor at Moneywise, editing and commissioning features on all aspects of personal finance.
Since 2013, I’ve worked as a freelance journalist, writing for national outlets including The Mail on Sunday, The Times, The Sun, MoneyWeek and Good Housekeeping. My features focus on the money stories that matter to readers — from pensions and tax to property and everyday spending.
Alongside my journalism, I work with financial brands to create content that builds trust and helps people make confident financial decisions. Clients have included PensionBee, Brewin Dolphin and Royal London.
Whether it’s a feature, guide or campaign article, my goal is always the same: to turn complex financial ideas into clear, accurate and engaging content that people actually want to read.
